‘Star Wars’ Characters Broadcast Diamondbacks-Cubs Game [VIDEO]

There are thousands of baseball fans who would probably rather be anywhere else on earth than a Diamondbacks-Cubs game, but, this past weekend, the D-Backs broadcasting team decided to hightail it to a galaxy far, far away.

Arizona hosted 'Star Wars' Day on Sunday when the team hosted the equally dreadful Cubs. Diamondbacks announcers Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenly really got into the spirit of the day by donning a storm trooper and Chewbacca, respectively.

The force was clearly with the Diamondbacks -- they won the game to finish a sweep of Chicago. That could turn out to be the highlight of a season that has been as ugly as reaction to Jar Jar Binks.
