Jimmie Johnson passed Brad Keselowski with four laps to go and won NASCAR's AAA Texas 500 Sprint Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Johnson’s late pass gave him his fifth win of the 2015 season and sixth career checkered flag at Texas.

Keselowski, who led 312 of the 334 laps on Sunday, finished second. Kevin Harvick placed third, with Kyle Busch fourth and Carl Edwards fifth.

Among Chase drivers, only Jeff Gordon, who won last week at Martinsville, has guaranteed himself a spot in NASCAR’s final four drivers on Nov. 22 in Miami.

Chase contender Joey Logano exited early on Sunday with a blown left rear tire. He finished a disappointing 40th after just 268 laps.

The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will continue next Sunday at Phoenix.
