Minor Leaguer Hits Monster HR, Breaks His Own Windshield in Parking Lot
Brandon Thomas may have power, but we're more interested in his wheels.
Thomas, of the Gateway Grizzlies, crushed a grand slam during his team's 17-6 mauling of the Joliet Slammers on Sunday that wound up breaking the windshield of his own truck in the parking lot.
That's a heck of a dinger, right? Well, imagine Thomas' surprise when he discovered that the ball landed on his windshield.
In the end, Thomas was a-okay with what happened, while Grizzlies' announcer Sam Levitt reminded people that he simply tattooed the pitch:
Here's hoping Thomas has some good insurance. Minor league ball players don't exactly make a ton of money, so he doesn't need to be spending his paycheck on fixing something he need in the line of duty.
