Eagles Complete Thrilling Rally To Beat Colts, 30-27
Cody Parkey kicked a 36-yard field goal as time expired, and the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Colts, 30-27, in Indianapolis on Monday night. The win marked the second straight week Philadelphia (2-0) came back from a double-digit deficit to win its game.
Eagles quarterback Nick Foles completed 21 of 37 passes for 331 yards, including a game-tying scoring toss to Jeremy Maclin with 3:25 to play. Running back Darren Sproles caught seven passes for 152 yards, and he added a 19-yard touchdown run for Philadelphia. Teammate LeSean McCoy ran 20 times for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Two second-half turnovers doomed Indianapolis (0-2), which led 20-6 midway through the third quarter. A Trent Richardson fumble set up one Eagles' score, and Malcolm Jenkins' interception of Andrew Luck with 5:15 to play led to another.
Luck finished with 172 yards passing, three touchdowns and the interception. Ahmad Bradshaw carried 13 times for 70 yards and caught five passes for 26 yards and two scores for the Colts.
