Even Patriots haters may have to give this a thumbs up.

New England wide receiver Julian Edelman posted this offbeat Super Bowl 51 hype video in which several Patriots star in a parody of the classic Wonder Years opening. Tom Brady and company are as reviled as Kevin Arnold and his family are beloved, so this is bound to leave the legions of people who loathe the Pats confused.

The clip itself is pretty well done. Heck, even Bill Belichick is in the video, in a shot where he's fishing. Hmm, we thought the only thing he does when he's not coaching is buying hoodies.

It's not exactly the Chicago Bears' "Super Bowl Shuffle" -- which is the definitive Super Bowl hype song and video (and came during a season in which the Bears beat the Patriots to win the Lombardi Trophy) -- but, you know what, it's definitely up there in terms of creativity.

As for lasting impact? Well, we'll have to see.

There's no word whether the Falcons have made a video. Maybe they're more focused on creating a game plan to stop the juggernaut that is the Patriots.

Meanwhile, compare Edelman's video to the original Wonder Years opening.
