Between-Innings Race Is an A+ Fail for Braves Fan

The Atlanta Braves are so bad this year even their fans are losing.

During last Friday night’s game versus the New York Mets, one lucky fan got to compete in a race around the warning track against a nefarious entity named the Freeze — a man who gives the fan a head start and then does his best to catch up.

As they came down the stretch, this fan tried to rile up his comrades in the stands and get them to cheer while he presumably thought victory was in sight. Bad idea, buddy, because at that moment the Freeze passed him, while the fan stumbled and fell.

In the words of the Mets broadcast team, “This is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen.” Judge for yourself.
